This past weekend my Subjugators battled with Onyx, Australian traveler of renown, who was playtesting his Iron Warriors list with Rob's Chaos Marines. The loyalists took it in the third turn 2-1 with T&H and DTF to BTS. More pics of the day to come! I took: Code: BIKE DETACHMENT [200] 4 Bike Unit, Attack Bike DEVASTATOR DETACHMENT [250] 4 Devastators, Rhinos LAND SPEEDERS [200] 5 Landspeeder LANDING CRAFT [350] SCOUT DETACHMENT [150] 4 Scouts, Rhinos TACTICAL DETACHMENT [450] 6 Tacticals, Supreme Commander, Hunter, Rhinos TACTICAL DETACHMENT [325] 6 Tacticals, Dreadnought TERMINATOR DETACHMENT [350] 4 Terminators THUNDERHAWK [200] THUNDERBOLT FIGHTERS [175] 2 Thunderbolts THUNDERBOLT FIGHTERS [175] 2 Thunderbolts THUNDERBOLT FIGHTERS [175] 2 Thunderbolts Onyx used something close to the following: Code: 250 Defiler Assault Group 250 Defiler Assault Group 250 Armoured Assault Company 225 Decimator 225 Decimator 200 Predators 400 Havocs, Warsmith, Stalker 125 Chosen 275 Terminators 200 Helblades 600 Ordinatus 3000

The Iron Warrior's Castle of Doom (+2) The Ordinatus takes out a bike. The Hellblades go on CAP. TBolts straffe the Predators and lay a BM. The Defilers go on overwatch. Tbolts straffe the Vindicators and take two out. They attempt to marshal, fail and break. Tbolts straffe the Predators, take two out and break them. A Decimator doubles up. Scouts double up and lay a BM on the Decimater. It's buddy double up and takes out a Scout. The Bikes marshal. The secnod group of Defilers go on overwatch. The Land Speeders double, loose one to Chosen overwatch and lay a BM on the Decimator. The Havocs sustain and take out four Speeders. The Tacticals land and lay a BM on the Havocs. The Landing Craft land and breaks the Havocs, taking three down. Two SC Rhinos are lost from Defiler overwatch. The Terminators teleport in.

Turn 2 The Terminators sustain on a Decimator and destroy it in a crossfire. The SC retains and engages with the Devastators on the remaining Decimator. Three Marines go down and the Decimator runs with 1DC left. Defilers advance on the Tacticals, taking two out. The Ordinator sustains and breaks the SC and lays some BMs on the Devastators and Tacticals. I think the Tacticals sustained at somepoint too. The Hellblades go on CAP. Tbolts straffe the Havocs, but are CAPed by the Talons. They jink and loose one. The Defilers advance and lay a BM on the Scouts. The THawk lands and sucks up the Tacticals, laying a BM on the Defilers. The Land Speeder fails to activate and breaks. Tbolts straffe the Havocs, wiping them out. TBolts straffe the Vindicators, wiping them out. The Landing craft lands and sucks up the Devastators, taking out a Defiler. The Scouts double and hack down a Chosen.

Turn 3 Turn 3 The Terminators teleport in. The Tacticals land and lay a BM on the Defilers. Terminators charge the other Defilers. They win, taking three out and break the Chosen. The Ordinatus flattens the SC and BTS. The Defilers sustains on the bikes, laying a BM. Tbolts straffe the Terminators and break them. A Land Speeder hits the Decimator on a 6 with a crossfire but it saves! The Bikes double to grab the Marine blitz and hack down a Terminator. The single TBolt takes out the last one. The other Tbolts fail to activate. The Scouts fail to activate and marshal. The Landing Craft lands, is CAPed and takes down two Talons. The Devastators grab T&H and DTF.

Nice looking battle. Not exactly tons of sweeping movement, though.

Those were made by GW, when the local store closed up they sold off the tables to the Time Machine.

Good to see you playing, nice battle report. You take a very different SM list from what I often take. That is a nasty looking castle, I'm looking forward to meeting and playing Onyx when he gets back to Perth.

This list is a recent development for me, I used to play straight ground pounder. When I finished my THawks though I started working them and the LC in. Steve's a great guy, I'm glad he got a chance to experience the full Adeptus Ineptus in all its glory.

This was a great game with a player that knows his army very well. As soon as I saw the landing craft and T/hawk, I knew I was in trouble Failed rallies really hurt in this game (that and an opponent that was top class). Only one correction on my army list Dave - the havoc formation+stalker+warsmith is only 400pts.
