Love the AdMech stuff. Looking good. Too bad about the bad rolls. My titans also have a tendency to explode in spectacular fashion. ![]() |

Though I'm probably going to want some more of those newfangled secutors too... and some crew for my Rapiers... Ah, who am I kidding, it never stops ![]() EpicBattleBaggz wrote: Too bad about the bad rolls. It's not just Titans exploding either - game before last, I had a formation of three minori that all(!) went critical at once... It's spectacular, at least. EpicBattleBaggz wrote: ![]() ![]() |

Why did you take a list with so few activations? 8 activations on the ground is notably low for 3k, let alone 4k. Your list is a long way from being optimised for tournament play, as you intended, IMO. A quick bit of mental arrithmatic: was your opponent only playing 3800pts or did I count wrong? Or are there hydras you've not noted down? His list doesn't look great either IMO... 9 on ground activations is again what you'd expec at 3k for a steel legion list. As an aside, at 4k the first thing I'd take with the current Skitarii list would be 4 warhounds with Turbolaser & Plasma. |

Thanks for the report. I'm going to agree with E&C here for a tournament game I'd look to have more activations on the table at 4000pts, but will conceed that my Speed Freaks are often out activated and can still win due to the amount of damage that they can take and inflict. |

There are rather few cheap formation available to buff the ground activation count; Plain Skitarii seems a bit lacklustre, Ordinati are expensive from the get go, and Robots are unreliable... There were Guard Hydras, I've updated the batrep. Only three, so yes, he was starting 50 point low. I didn't check his math ![]() I have a few Warhounds; I can try those next time. I only have three, though. How would you do a 4K competitve list? |

Plain skitarii may be 25pts overpriced. Minori (except for quake ordinati) are too expensive to form a mainstay. The upgrades you took, are not worth taking. A warlord is not worth taking if you know you'll be very low on activations. I'd look to base a list around skitarii waves, quake minori, warhounds, and possibly ord Golgotha if I could find the points. Plus some cheaper robots for activation boosting. Maybe cheap warhounds and thunderbolts, but turbo warhounds are so much better it's probably worth the risk spending the extra 25pts per hound. |

Actually scratch ord golgotha, it's not as good as a quake minori group and costs the same |
