Post subject:	[Epic: Xenos] 3k Onachus v0.1.1 vs IG - 2010/11/10
We called this one in the 4th, 'nids had T&H, DTF and TSNP at the moment and the guard had four formations unbroken that weren't in a position to shift them. They probably could have denied T&H but not the others. Had it gone to points the 'nids would have won. Start of Game Start of Game The Thunderbolts straffe the Stealers and lay a BM. The Sentinels advance and take one out. Swarm 1 doubles and takes out a Sentinel. The Vultures advance on the Dom and get 6 hits but she saves them all. The Harridan doubles on the Sentinels and breaks them. The Manticores sustain on Swarm 1 and take out 3 Gaunts. The Stealers engage before they break, 2 go down from overwatch, breaking them, and the assault never happens. They fall back. Swarm 4 marches up the right flank. The Tbolts take out a Termagant. The Dominatrix doubles up and positions to get a shot at the TBolts as they disembark. The HQ marches to the center. Swarm 2 marches up. The Infantry sustain on Swarm 2 and take out a Warrior. Swarm 3 marches up. The Mechanized infantry double. The Genestalers march. The Raveners appear.

Turn 2 Turn 2 The SC engages Swarm 2. One Warrior and three fex fall back. The Infantry retain and sustain, fail, and shoot on the Stealers, taking one out. The Raveners engage the Vultures. Two go down. The rest are hacked down. The Dominatrix doubles on the SC, barfing all over them and taking out five units. The Manticores sustain on the Stealers, taking one out. The Stealers engage on the Sentinels on the left flank. The Commissar makes his save! And Power Foots a stealer! The Stealers win but break. The Thunderbolt fails to come on. The Harridan advances and takes out a Chimera. The Thunderbolts straffe the Lictors but they make two saves! The Genestalers marshall. The Infantry sustain on the Harridan and lay a BM. The Lictors marshall. The Mechanized Infantry double on the Harridan, hoping to break her but all Hellhound shots miss the Gargoyles. Swarm 2 engages the Infantry. Two Warriors and three Gaunts go down vs 4 Chimera, and Infantry and the Hellhounds. The Infantry Breaks and falls back. The Sentinels go on overwatch. Swarm 3 doubles on the SC and lays a BM. Swarm 4 doubles and lays a BM on the Infantry.

Turn 3 Turn 3 The Dominatrix engages with Swarm 3. Two gaunts and a fex are lost, but most of the IG die and fallback to the left. The Harridan retains and engages the Infantry in the woods. She breaks them but suffers three wounds. The Infantry go on overwatch. The Raveners and Swarm 4 get pummeled by the Manticores. Not sure what the 'nids did before this but the TBolts straffe the Lictors and lay a BM. The Genestealers engage the Infantry. Two go down from overwatch but they don't break thanks to a save. They are wiped out in the Assault though. The Sentinels march onto the 'nid half. The Lictors get straffed again and break.

Turn 4 Turn 4 The Manticores sustain on Swarm 4 and take out a Warrior. The Infantry engage but the 'nids pull off a win in FF. The Lictors engage the Sentinels and wipe them out. End of Game

Reg HQ + Helhounds: 650 (bts) Mech inf. coy. + demolishers: 600 Inf. coy. + FS: 350 Inf. coy. + FS: 350 Vultures: 300 Manticores: 250 T-bolts: 150 T-bolts: 150 Sentinels: 100 Sentinels: 100 total: 3000 pts, 10 activations My most notable action this game was constructing an IG list with more than 9 activations $:-\$
