Quote: (Hena @ Feb. 14 2010, 19:01 ) When I read on the use of T'hawk Trans on turn 1, I was pretty sure what would happen on Turn 2. Yep. I learnt this lesson with a painful way ![]() I think the Reaver and Inf.B were intermingled. Actually, I way only thinking about a shooting action with the Landing Craft. And I hadn't seen any decisive such action. Another thing to say, Hojyn and me were a bit rusted as we barely played 1 or 2 games in 2009. We both need to relearn all the small nasty tricks ![]() |

I realise I was wrong with the Supreme Commander. I didn't noticed that was not like in the others lists, and I put him in a bikes unit. But it changes nothing as I may have put him in one of my Land Raiders. I would loose by only 2-1 instead of 3-1 (my Land Raiders would have been the BTS objectif instead of the Heavy Tactical). |

Quote: (Hena @ Feb. 15 2010, 08:13 ) Oh right. The supreme was in wrong place ![]() Quote: The Scions of Iron is a pleasant list for me who love SM armours. But even this list gains to be played with airborne formations, like the others SM lists. Airborne is a must have in any SM army. You really think this? I must admit that most of my games have not been using T'hawks Transport nor Landing Craft. I tend to use Helios or Land Raider formations to give some durability on ground. Also one or two Thawk attack craft and teleporting Terminators. You don't find that Land Raider Helios is to expensive Hena? btw nice report to read. ![]() |

Well, most of my SM armies include armours and airborne elements. The Scions list allows me to combine these both elements. I have to try the ground Scions army, but that just shows that the armylist can be played differently while keeping its "armour flavor" specificity. |
