Turn 1: Orks won the strategy roll. Large fighter bomber squadron 1 ground attack on storm troopers valkyries killed all 4 valyries and 5 of the stormtroopers inside. Orks retained to ground attack the surving broken storm troopers with the other fighter bombers wiping them out. BTS to orks. Lightning interceptors intercepted the large fighta bomma squadron taking no hits from flak and downing 3 enemy aircraft. Stompas doubled forward next to the rocks. Vultures advanced forwards just triggering OW from warboss garrison but no losses. Fired missiles at stompas killing one stompas and 1 dread. Ork mob by blitz went on overwatch but needed to use sc reroll. lightning strikes ground attacked stompa mob killing 1 kan. kult of speed doubled toward the Elysians Blitz. 2nd vulture squadron advanced toward stompa mob firing its missiles downing none (damn reinforced armour) end phase: All imperial fighters disengaged with no problems. the smaller unit of fighta bommaz was forced to exit by the imperial table edge giving it a bm. all formations rallied succesfully. |
