Turn 3 Things get back to what they should be, and Death Guard takes the initiative from the slow witted imperial forces.
The Decimator advances and fires upon the Russes, and in their close formation a lot of them are hit, and 4 of them destroyed, and the broken remains of the formation retreats away from all angry DG formations.
Terminators retain and advances on the Manticores, with some highly ineffective shooting only one is destroyed, but the formation breaks anyway and moves away to take cover behind their tank buddies.
As the last unbroken formation in the imperial army, the Rough Riders lets out a dry and charges the decimator.

The resulting combat is however a disappointment for the riders, only one hit is scored and unsaved and in return 2 riders are gunned down by the crazy inhabitants of the tank. The riders win but the Decimator doesn’t really care.
The retinue engages the riders to make them pay, and the combat has to go on for two rounds, but in the end of the second round not one rider can be found standing.
In the last activation the mech retinue advances and takes two objectives, and fires on the broken Russes, they lose one to fire and another two too blast markers. And with that the battle concludes, with 4 broken imperial tanks left on the battlefield

Victory conditions: Death Guard: Take and hold and They shall not pass Imperial Guard: None.
