Mhm. You used a wrong list with way too much MW. If you reduce the demolisher cannon back to 3+/4+, you will see it takes much pressure out of the list. Try it this way and you will see, the results will something very different.

I'm confused, who was this comment intended for?

That would be me then, how so a wrong list, you say too much MW, I only took 9 Thunderers in total and only 2 Executioners. The remaining 23 Leman Russ's were standard pattern. As for the shadow swords and DS they were there to deal with with the Dark Eldar war engines of which their were 4. The Thunderers did not do the bulk of the LR damage, that came from the standard variant. They were mostly a cheap tough activation.

"only" 9 Thunderer are only 9 MW4+ . I am pretty sure they didn?t do most of the damage, but they add up nicely over time.
Maybe you are right, Thunderers are too cheap. Even with the standard Demolisher cannon they are too cheap. Thats a point really worth discussing. 240 for 6 4+RA units seems a little bit underpriced.

Possibly, but for me the 60 point Standard LR are a bargain and probably underpriced. It wouldn't matter massively if Thunderes didn't have the MW its the 40 pts, RA and 6 strong platoons that make them useful.

Righjt Thunderers are too cheap. make em 50 without MW and they are OK. Also helps avoiding the abusive use for saving point issues.
