Hello I really havent yet played Epic but I alredt have nice force collection. I saw many photos of Ork Stormboyz with Grotz on their backs. Then the idea came up. Why not make a Sotrmnob unit. I dont mean formation, I mean just an infantry stand. They would have simillar statisic to regular Nob, with 30cm movement and reduced firepower to 1x Big shoota rather than 2. They would also be also capable of Transporting one Grotz stand each. This will turn Stormboy warhorde into more standard ork formation containing (Sorm)Boyz, (Storm)Nobz and Grotz. Grotz would be the same as they are just being carried by the big greenskins. It is ujst a loose idea and I dont know if would be balanced or useful. Let me know ; ) Cheers Kuba |

Well, I'm probably not the best to chime in on this given my penchant for insane house rules but I like this. Its flavourful, fun and It's exactly the sort of bonkers idea that orks would live, and die, for. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been included in cannon at some point. Imagine if the grots had bombs strapped to them? Now we're cooking with charcoal! |

I am glad you like my idea. I though it would be nice as we usually see some Grotz being carried on backs of big Boyz. I have also thought about some sort of sucideal Grotz. Maybe add them as a single shot weapon to Sormnobz so they could transport grotz or have some Grot-bombz as a aditional weapon. I am not talking about the stats, as I havent played Epic yet and I dont know how things would go on the battlefield. |

Like the idea,could look really cool. Also like the idea of bomb grotz. They could be used for more stuff, like a truck filled to the brim with screaming insane grotz strapped with explosives. And the grotz running franticaly in every direction. Maybe some one should create a codex of all our ideas for the different armies. |
