Something I noticed yesterday when playing around with army lists for (A)OGBM. Was looking at taking Kustom Upgrades for Gargants/Great Gargants. The first Kustom Upgrade would be free and a second Kustom Upgrade would cost 50 points (if taken instead of Big Kustom Upgrade). Lets assume for simplicity that taking a Gatling Kannon on arm mount: For a Gargant it would lose a Soopagun for each Gatling Kannon taken. For a Great Gargant it would lose a Twin Soopagun for each Gatling Kannon taken. That would mean I am most likely to upgrade Gargants as opposed to Great Gargants as gaining biggest benefit from Kustom Upgrades. Not saying we need to change anything but just something I noticed. Yes, but I don't think it's a problem. The value of 2BP versus 3BP is entirely dependent on where the overall total BP points falls on the barrage table. People are going to make their choices for BP weapons based on that total, not on the relative "price" of an individual weapon swap. |
