Hi- been trying to finish off painting some Gargants and Great Gargants. I had one of the E40K Great Gargants and a pair of the Space Marine era ones. After a bit of searching I was able to get hold of one of the older late 80's resin Great Gargants:

From looks of it it has the following: Gork Head, Battle Cannon Turret, Skorcha, Observation Turret. Gut Buster, Ripper Fist, Gatling Cannon.

I can see Gatling Cannon on list of Kustom upgrades. What about the Ripper Fist? Would it count as Super Lifta Droppa? Or a Mega Choppa?

PS: What does the Megalobba look like?

Mega Choppa i would say as the Ripper Fist looks like a giant chainsaw.

I'd make it a MegaChoppa.

There's not a defined Megalobba. It's just a big BP weapon, so nearly anything could "counts as" for it.

Would Gut-Buster count as Megalobba or is it better as standard Soopergun?

From memory you can have one Kustom upgrade for free and a 2nd would cost 50 points. I'm thinking of swapping the arm weapons between various Great Gargant models:
1) add Ripper Fist (counts as MegaChoppa) instead of Super Lifta Droppa on one of the painted SM2 era Great Gargants (with twin Sooper Gun and belly mounted Sooper Gun) -i.e. 1 free Kustom upgrade
2) arm old resin Great Gargant with Super Lifta Droppa, Gatling Cannon and Megalobba -i.e. 1 free Kustom upgrade and 2nd 50 point Kustom upgrade.

What I was trying to avoid was mixing Megalobba and Sooper Gun weapons on the same model as I would otherwise lose the benefits of MW on BP shots.
