The Bommer wont get much attention from me right now since it's not one of the more significant units in the list.
I will present stats and cost for it bext week which will be a mix of the suggestions here.

The Gargants and their upgrades/weapons will be my main focus now.

Sounds like a good prioritization. Actually, why is there a bommer in the list at all?

Regarding weapons, has the Snapper getting TK d3 or similar been suggested/discussed previously? I seem to remember that back in the day it did more damage than the Ripper Fist and it might make it a more equal choice.

With the updates in the first post do Bigmob still get a free warlord like other Ork lists? Just can't see it mentioned & can't scan the whole thread as I'm slacking off at work :D

Yes, a Mekboy Big Boss that has EA +1 MW bc and EA +1 MW 15cm and Supreme Commander ability comes free of charge.

Having read through this thread and played quite a few games vs Gargants (under the previous list) I have to say that I'm not keen on the Death Kannon and on any 90cm weapon in an Ork list.
I'd much rather see the Zzap Gun be the TK shooty gun by itself.

Just curious about your reasons for not wanting the death kannon. ATML have the volcano cannon that has better stats and is cheaper. For the most part the ATML weapons are significantly better across the board.

Was the mega-choppa supposed to be +50 points, not 25?

I'm asking cause the ripper fist is +50, and on par with the choppa.

It is very much a 'I will position myself where I want to be and you then have to try and move me' list. But one of the Gargants will be making a run for the enemy Blitz. Shooting is very much seen as secondary, although a minimum of 18 shots from each Gargant should still be tasty when they get to their objectives. Will be a few weeks before I try this out though.

Just wondering how the power fields function. I haven't used Gargants in a while but is it still the case that the ork shields don't regenerate like the marine shields. Eg. Marshal actions can't regenerate shields.

Sorry, haven't done up the stats sheet yet and haven't added a note about the mekboy big boss to the force organization chart either. Will do it tonight hopefully!
