Also Meganobz should take up two transport spaces. They're way bulkier and heavier in the armour and are the ork equivalent of Terminators, both having rules in 40k that make them take up twice as much transport space as usual.

What happens if the teleporta array scatters to a position where not all the teleporting models can be deployed out of enemy ZoC? The rules should specify. The target point for a planetfalling unit automatically repositions to the nearest free space out of enemy ZoC, does the same happen with the teleporta?

All of the above makes sense to me. I would use play it like that.

Gonna give the list a whirl in the next game. Just obtained some nice MegaNobz that I need to paint up :D

Also.. is it intentional that Morkanauts feature 1 power field but Gorkanauts do not?

In a further thought with regard to Flash Gitz being Nobz I guess it would be fair to use the same leader rule that apply to Mega Nobz formations..

That's from their 40k rules, where Morkanauts have a Kustom Force Field which has traditionally been represented as Power Fields in EA.

Ok, thanks. Looks like there is little incentive to go for Gorkanaut then..

im going to naturally be building into Bad Moonz as I expand/repaint my Ork collection. I am starting with the Big Mob then I will run int o this as well eventually. I really want to get the bogmob list official.

One or two of us might try this list for the Orktober tournament (planned tournament where all armies used must be orks) later in the year :)

Gorkanauts and Morkanauts should really only transport one unit. They can only transport 6 models in 40k which should get rounded to the nearest number to transport one in Epic (same as the SM Razorback which transports 6 models in 40k).

Fair enough, I can make that change

Why the restriction to not allow the supreme to added to Flash Gitz and could we scrap this please? Flash Gitz are Nobz that specialise in shooting and according to the background there are particularly large numbers of Flash Gitz who are part of the Bad Moonz clan (sometimes groups of Flash Gitz band together as piratey Freebooterz instead but more often they are Bad Moonz themselves). It seems odd that the supreme can't join elite shooty elements of his army as this would have seemed a natural place for him and where I'd planned to model my infantry supreme. Could you change it to if you don't have a Gargant you can add the supreme to any Nobz or Flash Gitz stand?

okay, I was confusing flash gitz with freebooterz a bit, yes the warlord should go there

I figured orks were less prone to giving a crap about space and would hang out the sides or boot other smaller orks off transports, it also makes them more expensive to mechanise

yes the same should happen with the tellyporta, deploy them as close to the bubble as possible while still making the deployment legal

Nobz in stature but more concerned about their big shiny gunz and armour than bossin' the boyz around

Need to make them more fighty I guess, they do have better stats than the morkanaut.....

V1.04 uploaded in OP, there have been a few significant tweaks implemented based on feedback, but hopefully this makes the list stand on its own more

Thanks for the update.

I'm very happy to see the Ardwagons go up in price, they're so much better than Battlewagons that 50pt each felt like a massive bargain.

Stompas, on the other hand, now cost more than in the War Horde list. I can't remember when the additional ones were finally dropped to 50pt each in the main list, but having them at 50pt was one of the reasons to use the Bad Moons list for me. Stompas without a Supa Stompa are already a pretty hard sell, due to the way EA Orks work.

Kill Burstas and Kill Blastas - 100pt each for additional ones feels too cheap, especially with the speed boost and the minor increase in firepower. I know it's going to eat into the activation count to add them, but that's a better than 40% discount on the extras! Personally I'd never field a solo one for 175pt when I can have two for 275pt.

Mega Nobs - nice and fluffy, and makes them that bit more flexible tactically.

Blitz Brigade - I'm slightly sorry to see this go, as it was the only EA list where I could field my Monowheel Speedstas in a thematic way and include Flash Gitz or Meganobs, but I think it's probably the right decision thematically.

Big Gunz - removal of the Gunz Mob should probably be in the update notes. ;-) Was there a specific reason for removing them from the Warband formation as well?

Ah, I just spotted that Oddboys have been removed from the main Warband as well as losing the Blitz Brigade and Mekboy Gunz Mob, leaving the Walker Mob as the only way to get Oddboyz.

I'm not a fan of the triple-whammy removal of Oddboyz, but if you do leave out the Mekboy Gunz Mob you can remove the Oddboys restriction from the Tellyporta as that was the only way to have an Infantry Oddboy.

some of those are errors as I lost the v1.02 text document due to covid issues (It's on a memory stick at my office)

I'll go back and update things

Quick note here to say thanks to Kyushu for continuing to put out updates to this list. Now that restrictions are easing I’ll be looking to get some games in with the likes of Nat and Jon.

Cheers

Just to check, in the revised 1.04 file, it's intentional that the basic Warband has changed from 2 Nobs, 5 Boys and 3 Grots to 2 Nobs, 6 Boys and 2 Grots?

And that there are no more Oddboy Stompas?

Mob change is intentional, stompa change is not....
