So, you Grots wanna liv foreva?!

With March being the NetERC's "Minor Armies" month, I've put together an update of my "Blood Axe Mercenaries" Ork list, which combines elements from both the Orks and Imperial Guard to show what weedy gits the Blood Axes really are.

Take a look and let me know what you think!

Well, I *did* create a new army for each of the major races for the "EPIC Army Competition", this month being "Minor Armies" just motivates me to update and post them!  *laugh*

And, my wife is doing her PhD, I'm self-employed, and we've got no kids... so, I've got time... *LAUGH*

Chroma you may possibly be overproductive. :vD

Nice list and I just have one question: Would it make more sense to have Kommandos w/ free Grot unit as an option instead of Boyz in the Kommando Warband?  It seems fitting considering that Kommandos are the core troop type.

Der's no wai we'z gonna let any more squeaky Grots tag along wit us when we'z sneakin'!

Since Kommandos cost 25 points without a "free" Grot, they'd probably have to be increased in points if Grots were included in them... though it's something to consider.

So... battle report?   :))

And, just to be clear, the "Taktical Warband" is the Blood Axe's attempt to mimic Space Marines... :agree:

Same for the Drop Rok I suppose.
You should add these profiles in the v1.2.1 document.

About the looted vehicles, does the test for going too fast come in addition to any 'real' dangerous terrain test ?

Yes, it would be in "addition", just as if a single move had gone through multiple areas of dangerous terrain.

As to when to make the test vis-a-vis disembarking... I'm not sure, I believe it would have to happen before disembarking.  Ouch.

Would *LOVE* to see some playtest games with this army!
