A couple of quick questions regarding Orks that came up in a game on Saturday.

Firstly - is it possible to get multiple Commanders in an Ork army? Or are they limited to one Warboss?

Secondly - does the Warboss replace a Nobz base, or is he an extra base to the unit?

Cheers

Yep, only one Big Baraboom Warboss (the one with Supreme Commander), no option to get more. Fluffwise if there would be more than one warboss, they would end up fighting each other until there would be just that one (stronger one).

And Warboss is character upgrade, so it does not replace neither add own unit, instead it gives Nob stand extra MW attack making that Nob base quite very formidable in melee (2 CC3+ hits and 1 MW CC3+).

As noted, only one Warboss.  You could always put multiple Warbosses in a scenario, but the GT army list only allows one.

The Warboss is a character, which means its abilities are added to an existing unit.  It does not add a new unit or replace an existing one.

Also, just to be particular, the Warboss can go on different models.  The rules for which unit it is attached to are in the "how to use the army list" section, but it basically breaks down to:
1)  If you have a Great Gargant, it has to be the Warboss.
2)  Absent a Great Gargant, you can add the Warboss to a Gargant or Nob stand of your choice.
3)  If you have an army with no Gargants or Nobz at all (highly unlikely, but possible), you can add the Warboss to any unit.
