Can Death Guard/Nurgle Chaos Marines use Raptors ? I don't know if current WH40K has Raptors CSMs with Jupm Pack ? But the question for me remains ? Any input ? ![]() According to this ... http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Chaos_Raptor ... Maybe ? ![]() But as seen in this pic ... Yes ... ![]()

Looks like he stopped short and his insides kept going... he needs some Pepto Bismol ![]() I'm going to guess "probably not" will be the answer as I understand the DG list "theme" is slow and plodding. However, some wise sage on these boards once advised "DWWFY"... can't remember who that was... |

They used assault marines and chemical warfare specialists with jump packs called destroyers during the great crusade and the heresy. It is entirely possible some survived to be jump pack equipped raptors in 40k. The good captain is correct in that they had a preference for infantry heavy warfare, but the more recent canon from Forge World says that Mortarion's infantry were trained to do all roles and not specialise in one in particular. So a marine could be in a Bolter squad one battle, a destroyer squad the next, and manning a rapier the next. So I have Death Guard raptors in my army. Go for it! |
