If you're UK based and talking about an EpicUK event, you need the EpicUK list rather than the netEA one, find them at www.epic-uk.co.uk :)

I seee, cheers for that. Is there a big difference between the lists on EpicUk and NetEA? Or is one site just udated more frequently than the other.
For the Black Legion, it seems that there have been quite a few tweeks. I am mainly a casual gamer (although hope to make some tournaments this year) so want to be using the most up to date list against similar tested lists.
Hopethismakes sense.

They're independent development groups and are nominally independent of each other. However there's plenty of overlap and much commonality between many of the original lists (Steel Legion, Codex Marines, etc) and well as people involved with both (players and designers). Someone more familiar with both I am sure can spell out the specific differences with the Black Legion list specifically

They are pretty much the same across EUK and NetEA, that was always Steve54's intent and that is the outcome

I think the changes were all approved so it's basically the tournament pack list you need to look at. http://www.tp.net-armageddon.org/

For those who take formations dedicated to different Chaos gods - do you keep a uniform color scheme or do you have Khornate units painted up as World Eaters, Slaaneshi units as Emperor's Children, etc.? I guess what I'm really asking is, how do most people run this list:
- Pure Black Legion
- Black Legion with a few allied formations from other traitor legions ("allied" in a fluff sense)
- A mixture of legions closely associated with different gods (e.g. 1/2 Death Guard, 1/2 Thousand Sons)

And does anyone use Cult Marines? 12 stands of marines feels like a lot, and it seems awkward to have eight Black Legion stands plus four colorful, flamboyant ones. I suppose the idea is that they're from the same legion, with eight still being pretty normal and the other four being thoroughly corrupted.

Are there flamer proxies anywhere? Onslaught has a lot to offer for some daemon types (the unpopular ones, rules-wise), and that's what got me looking at this list in the first place.

Colors are going to come down to personal preference, I don't think you'd find a consensus.

One local uses upgraded retinues (cults and havocs), we've even seen a 16 stander out of him at one point. Personally, the need for activation out weighs the utility you get from the different units. If you're still like to use them, try something similar to the Emperor's Children structure (base six, with replacing and adding marines/havocs/cults from there).

MWG makes Horror proxies, that's the closest I can think of.

Thanks! I'm not (yet) serious about a Chaos army, but I've been accidentally collecting a grab bag of proxies. Almost enough for an army that isn't pretending to be cohesive. With these formation sizes I'd better try to find strip bases with four holes instead of five (e.g. to get six stands out of Onslaught's packs of 25 individual minis).
