Just wondering if people pick Slaanesh or Khorne retinues with the Black Legion? When I play the legion with Daemons, have most often used a combination of Tzeentch (for ground sloggers) and Undivided (for any fast attack or riding formations). I know that Plaguerbearers 3+ save is really nice. But Lesser Khorne really require a drop to be effective. How are you using them? |

With the slow speed of the CSM FF daemons are always going to be the best option for retinues, bloodletters are good with terminators where they can teleport into CC range, daemonettes are good with smaller formations where you can minimise the attacks back |

Thank you. I was just wondering if you had found the flamers 2x 4+ FF attack a bit imba, or if it evened out. |

Well comparing them with PB, the other FF daemon, PB are less good in attack but have better saves - also when making an assault in FF you can put the PB in front of the CSM to take hits+preserve your CSM whereas the flamers tend to go behind to protect them |

I think Flamers are a little ahead of the other daemons for the reasons you mentioned, but I think all of them have thier place. This was part of the reason Horrors are core in the Daemon World list rather than Flamers. |
