These were changed to AA6+ and upped to 85pts in the last review,

I would like to reduce them to 75pts
At the moment they are fearless, difficult to kill and provide ok AA, agianst this they slow the whole army down.

In addition this would make armylist building a lot easier.

Well i previously pointed out that nothing in the fluff suggest that they are any good at shooting down aircrafts or that they are even used in that role.

What Obliterators are is a though as nails unit and a killer in shooting and FF which are only limited by low numbers.

I don't really want to see their stats change but I'd be happy to trial 75pts and see if it works.

40k fluff is inevitably based around the 28mm scale 40k game, in which flyers didn't exist for most of the time and even now that they do they are a niche unit. If a core 40k game involved flyers to a greater degree, fluff would have emerged for a CSM AA unit and Oblitorators, with their ability to manifest any weapon, are a good fit.

Yep.

On the Obliterator AA background, it was more or less what MikeT described. The thought behind Obliterators was an existing unit, that more or less fits and doesn't violate the universe.

I'm fine with the change as well.
