Hi there,

I am fighting the above with a combined space marine force as my ally (I know I know, would never ever happen but trying to help a friend learn to play the game with his space marine army). We both have 1500 points. Was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to what my force make up should be (and if possible any hints about space marine make up). I imagine that AP heavy hitters would be handy and maybe artillery?

I am lost. Are the Marines with the Chaos or with the Nids? This is a Chaos thread yet you have not mentioned Chaos ?

If it is Chaos and Marines, and you want to kick ass, depending what the nids have, do with Air assaults and aircraft. Bomb the enemy for two turns, and when they are full of BM or hard-up troops, hit them with combined assaults. Victory should be quite easy from there.

Mind you, this is a really nasty way (and probably not fun for the opponent) to win against nids who struggle at air defence.

Otherwise, you could make it a challenge, and take daemon summoning Chaos Marines and have them supported by your ATSKNF Tacticals, add in some tanks from either side, and you should have a real slugfest.

Yes sorry - it will be chaos and space marines together. I think a slugfest sounds fun. What exactly is ATSKNF?

ATSKNF - And they shall know no fear. Which the loyalist will have of course. Bear in mind I will be using the Leviathan list which has slightly upgraded AA in the form of the Meyotic Spores.
