do any of the EA chaos lists resemble the SM2 list with Disc riders, Juggers and the like?

I do have Juggers in the World Eaters list. Look under EA Chaos.

You will also find the Emperor's Children there as well.

I cannot account for SM2 as I never really played those rules.

No reason you couldn't use Juggers as bikes in a Khorne themed army or disc riders as bikes in a tzeentch one

Lost & Damned is your best bet. Beastmen are usually used as Mutants in the L&D. Trolls and Minotaurs are mostly used as Big Mutants. Chaos Squats can count as Cultists. Mounted troops can count as Rough Riders. L&D also has all the old daemon engines.

I use Disc Riders as Raptors in my Tzeentch Cult Black Legion list (which I think is more stylistically correct than counting them as bikes). I also have stats for Disc Riders in the Thousand Sons list.

Have I mentioned before how awesome everyone on this board is? Thanks for helping out!

How would I add in generic "chaosified" titans into this list? use the War Griffons list up to 30%?

The Banelord/Ravager/Ferals are pretty generic I think and they're already in the LatD and BL lists. Are you looking for custom weapon load-outs? If so, yeah, try the AMTL list Titans in a Chaos force. It should work fine for friendly games.

Dave: I'd say they're pretty specific rather than generic.

Check out the Red Corsairs list, which I believe has more generic titans.

I guess I see them as equivalent to the Imperial Titans in the rulebook. The "vanilla" Chaos titan choices, hence the generic ones.

They are standard, yes, but specific rather than generic.

I have an idea for a FANLIST, what do you folks think

Eye of Terror Renegades

Basic Story Chaos takes over a planet and the forces of chaos join with original inhabitants To raid nearby planets. flufitty-fluff...

Similar layout to SM2 lists
-Greater Daemon Required 1 per 3k points
-minimum 25% must be chaos Renegades, Daemons, etc Aligned with a Single Power or Chaos United
-minimum 30% must be spent in a planetary force of Squats, IG or Knightworld which may have an allied AMTL, Codex Marine, Ork, Squats, IG or Knightworld list (all list conventions must be applied to for formations. no more than 40% allies)
-Maximum 25% on an additional Chaos Power (Greater Daemon required) or Chaos SM Chapter (all rules for hatred and Rivalry apply)
-All older models covered by Chaos flavor all new models covered by using standard lists.

Pretty much allows you to field any unit and flavor your chaos army as you wish. Are there any places this could be abused? I am sure there are, but my goal is to restrict those with rules or flavor text.

Looks like too many layers at the moment. I mean, that basically covers every list in the game that isn't some kind of alien.

As a good rule of thumb, a list should have access to no more than about thirty different kinds of unit (as in stands).

Epic Armageddon works on more restricted lists, as it's much easier to balance a list with a smaller subset of units than one that allows all chaos units ever.

Certainly allowing allies from other lists will be a disaster for balance.

meh, you guys are probably right, I just feel that all of the chaos lists are a bit too flavorless, seem to be missing most os what was Chaosy about chaos.
