Ok got some questions. Noise Marine Retinue, One Emperor’s Children Decadent Lord character upgrade, six Noise Marine units and a Daemonic Pact. So is that 6 stands and the decadent lord is with one of them? or does the lord get his own stand?
Next question, this concerns the same unit. Assault Walkers, Dreadclaws, Favoured of Slaanesh, Apostate of Rapture, Degenerate, Predators, Transport. If i buy an Apostate of Rapture and a degenerate do they have to be based with the lord stand? or can they be on their own noise marine stands, so i can spread them out so if the lord dies they don't all die?
What would be considered standard with those that are familure with the list?

Hi there

This one seems to come up with just about every army :) . The Character is added to a base and his abilities are on top of what that base provides. So in total, just 6 bases, with one modelled to have the Decadent Lord.

You are welcomed to base them on different stands or on the same. It is totally up to you. Other than to gain the 'Fearless' trait on the Apostate, there is no reason that I can see why you would not place them all on separate bases.

For character upgrades like this (no Speed, AR, CC or FF stat line) in any list, you can safely assume that you can upgrade any of the stands unless the rules for that list specify otherwise (such as cannot upgrade and upgrade). This list does not have any of those restrictions.

I hope this helps and thanks for looking. Please let me know if you try the list and how you found it.

Regards...

Ok froggie got another one for you, but this may be just a basic rules question i'm not sure though.

I can buy armored support of 6 landraiders for 225 pts.

I can buy transport for my termies for 200 pts.

My thought would be to pay the 225 for the extra activation, but what i'm wondering is, are the landraiders still able to transport the termies as they where not purchased for them?

Thanks,
Blind-

Hi Blindhorizon

That is a good question actually. 1.7.5 of the rules (I think) states the following:

Quote:
Many formations include transport vehicles that can be used to carry other units that belong to the same formation.

Quote:
Transport vehicles may only carry units from their own formation.

So other than vehicles bought for a unit (as an upgrade or come as standard), or War Engines/Spacecraft (another rule altogether), a unit cannot be transported by another unit's transport capacity.

While Land Raiders have a Transport capacity, it is only realised when they are bought for the function intended - as a transport. A seperate unit of Land Raiders fullfill another role and Epic being what it is, to ensure balance and pricing, does not allow for such freedom.

I hope this helps

OK.

I have looked at this and they should be EA +2

I will update this on the Compendium thread and have this here for a future fix.

Great pick up!

The subjucator should only have Hellblades (not 2x Hellblades), somehow on the NetEA Compendium 2x has been added which was never included in the original stats for the Subjucator.

The GW official LatD list I have and an earlier version (3.4 I think it is) plus the E-UK one I also have has them with just Hellblades extra attacks (+2) TK (d3), not 2x hellblades extra attacks (+2) TK (d3).

2x Hellblade Extra Attacks (+1) TK (D3).
would be less confusing?

There's nothing confusing about the stats, they've just had 2x added to them by mistake.

Players using the NetEA compendium will then be rolling 4 TK (d3) attacks instead of just 2 TK(d3).
