Morning all; i'm a little confused as to the number of support formations one's allowed in a LatD army; is it one per core formations (INCLUDING the daemon pool) or is it just one per "stigmatus covenant coven"?

DOesn't really make much difference but at the same time do people reckon the could give this list a quick go over for me? (Coven's are made up of mostly beastmen)

-Covenant Coven
 Deamon Prince
 Hydra
 7 Land Transporters 370pts
-Covenant Coven
 Demon Prince
 Hydra
 7 Land Transporters  370pts
-Covenant Coven
 Demon Prince
 5 Big Mutants
 2 x Hydra  450pts
-Covenant Coven (Demagogue)
 Demonic Pact
 Icon Bearer
 2 Big Mutants  305pts
-Covenant Coven (Chaos Marine) 200pts
-Lord of Battles 400pts
-Lord of Battles 400pts
-Rough Riders 150pts
-Rough Riders 150pts
-Demon Pool
1 Greater Demon
5 Lesser Demons 200pts

2995pts

Hi MoK.

I've been reading the 1 support formation per core formation to mean only Covens, seems to make more sense that way as several of the formations are power-specific, and the Daemon Pool doesn't itself have a particular mark.
Your list seems to be legal in either case though :).

I've been toyin gwith the roughriders as a scout screen for the lords of battle or other formations OR spreading them as garrison right across the whole table.
I Reckon that (seeing as how great they can be in an assualt using them coming up BEHIND (as an after threat to anyone who engages them) the two footslogging formations may well be a good idea too!

It is per coven.  The daemon pool isn't supposed to count as a core formation, though I doubt it would make much difference if it did.

Nice list, especially with the LoB's not being the BTS as well. I found that I had problems with multiple transported Covens, but I think that you may have the right mix with yours. All you need do now is hope that you don't play any Guard armies (Or Reaver titans) as I have found that they like the fact that the LoB doesn't have any shields.
