IMO:

DG Retinue / Lord + 4 DG Marines and 2 Plague Marines / (upgrades) / 250
DG Heavy Retinue / Lord + 6 DG Havocs / (upgrades) / 350 points

2 support per retinue, armoured company and Termies to support

That way you could do few (two?) proper DG Retinues (Retinue + Plague Marines upgrade) and support for them.

If you want to encorage more basic troops, enforce a 1-1 aspect of 1 termie unit per death guard unit. That way, you free up the formation restriction and control the terminators as is done in the list that I am jointly working on.

Like above, just some suggestions

DG needs Rhinos back!

DG needs Blight Drones in the List!

DG needs to rename Decimator to Plague Reaper !

I would personally prefer: Normals, Havoks and Terminators (max 2?) in Retinues, one support per retinue, armoured co in support.

I am using your list as a guide on potentially re-pricing the list that Morgan and I are working on without the Fearless rule.

In regards to a Death Guard Retinue, can you please advise of your cost break down for working out the 250 points?
