This thread on the SG boards puzzled me: http://www.specialist-games.com/forum/t ... IC_ID=6175 Particularly with regards to the L&D Chaos list. Any comments on this? |

I thought that if chaos is ever released it would include the old plastic sprues - which of course include cultists. |

Now that thread was just funny. ![]() I know Maksim claimed to be having issues geting SG to put up new versions of the list. He posted as much here a few times. Odd that they now claim there has been no attempt to do anything after v.3 Yep, I can feel the swirl as it heads downward.... dafrca |

Its basicly a bunch of crap, I cant beleive I'm not used to it by now or alternately I cant beleive I havent bought a plane ticket to england and a pitchfork so I can lead the angry Mob over to GW and drag some of the buffoons out into the street and go medievel on their asses, it just really irks me that they seem to work so hard to screw their vets/ gamers over ![]() |

Hi! In one more year any pretense of "support" will disappear..... Primarch |

I don't see why the pretense of support won't continue - look at the support now we have one guy(Andy) presumably doing another job as well, or at least I hope so given his spectacular level of incompetence+inactivity, very little in the way of releases and no advertising - basically just a website. So why would they pull the plug - at the moment GW puts virtually nothing in and still can sell the models |

I?ll join any torch-wielding mob IF GW fails to deliver on the Chaos minis. But: I refuse to start worrying before autumn, let?s give them a chance to meet their schedule and start bickering then. |

Wasn't andy the one who organised the SST game for Mongoose, or is that my weird memory? If he is, I'd say that's far from inactive! He's doing more projects like that, and if he's gathering the E:A stuff aswell, I'd say he's got his hands quite full, and we're left to do some playtesting in our own time. Again, let's remember that the Andy referred to in this thread is Andy Hall (virtually the only employee of the Specialist Games division of GW) and not Andy Chambers (formerly of GW, possible having to do with the SST game). As an aside, I hear that the LatD list is now "legal" for the Call to Arms tourney, according to a post in the tyranid section of this board. Perhaps they realized that even for the "official" BL list that there would be many gaps in the model range, so similar gaps in the LatD range wouldn't be a problem. |

The list on the main SG page still only lists Chaos and Tyranids as their only experimental rules lists allowed... Though Tyranids has been updated to v7.1 it doesn't seem that LatD is gonna be included this year. Dunno about not included ever... |

Yeah. The L&D list has not been added to Call to Arms. But It is good that they are now using 7.1 of the tyranids and not 3.x that originally was posted. -Audrey |

Sorry, I thought I read a comment in the Tyranid section that indicated the LatD list was accepted, but then I read the actual SG message and saw I was wrong. Sorry for the confusion (and for getting anyone's hopes up). |

You did. The comment was from me... Clearly, if I am going to get something wrong, it is critical that I post it as often as possible so that the maximum number of people can see that I am a fool! ![]() |
