Okay, I had nothing better to do this weekend, so I did layout, editing, and reformatting of the recently released Chaos lists, putting them into one easy to use document. I've put it into a "Swordwind" like style document and called it "Black Crusade" and it doesn't have much art in it yet, just some of the LatD pics and some caps from the Online Store, but it should give you a feel for things. ?There's a title page as well, but I haven't included it yet, just to keep the file size small. I'd like people to go over it with a fine-toothed comb looking for typos, formatting errors, or anything else. I'd really like to add the Ulthwe list and a Cadian list to this document to make it a "full" release, so please let me know if you're interested. As well, I'd like to add more pictures/art, but that's for the future. Please dig in! Find the Black Crusade! |

Looking good. Once the typos have been sorted could you drop me a mail with a copy of the original file. I was thinking of doing a full color Swordwind style version. I'm about to make the NetEpic Gold chaos book anyway so I thought I might as well reuse some of the pictures from there. |

Both armies can take "Icon Bearers", amongst other things, and is seems silly to list them twice, with the same stats and all that. I've tried to set it up so that if you only play one army or the other you have a minimum of printing you need to do as all the units from each army are lumped together in the various sections. The whole "Black Crusade" supplement comes in at well under the page count of the combined Black Legion and Lost and the Damned .pdfs... and that includes a couple of blank "More to come!" pages. *laugh* |

Can we clarify what's going on? Chroma... are you going to send the document as it is (with the niggles niggled out) to SG to replace the current official documents? Or is the PURELY a fan-based project looking towards making a semi-official supplement? And as for Imperials... Cadians are the obvious choice, and might I suggest Daemonhunters? |

My desire is to cover both avenues actually. *laugh* I'd like to put together a supplement so cool that it supplants the current "basic" pdfs and becomes a full "supplement" like "Swordwind", I realize that's probably just a pipedream. If it doesn't work out, I'll make a "stripped down" version that's just the reformatted stats and army lists. That's what I get for having a rainy free weekend... *laugh* |

If there are faction specific units for each entry (=characters is one entry, infantry is another entry,etc) then Undivided units first, then the Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh units in this order. Ugh...i hope i made my point clear  |

(Though I will probably take a page from the Rulebook and do a *detailed* table of contents by the time I'm done.) SG's arcane method seems to go Charaters, Things That Walk, Mounted Things, Transport Things, Tanks... with none of those "subsections" in alphabetical order either! I feel I may have stumbled onto a secret plot here... *laugh* |

Hmm you're right. Strange... At least the SpaceMarine units follow their layout as it is represented in their codexorganisation: Leaders, Terminators, Tacticals, Assaults, Devastators, Scouts, Dreadnoughts. And then it goes fuzzy Perhabs it would be best to mimic the SM layout for the BL and the IG layout for the LatD? |

Okay, updated it to v1.1. Changed the font to the proper one, fixed some botched layouts, added some pictures, added one appendix, and cleaned up a few more errors. Haven't changed the unit information order yet, still deciding which way to go with that. Any help or comments are appreciated! |

Great work Chroma! Qouldn't it be great to have pictures for everything in these lists? We must be able to pool resources and get them all right? Shame my Chaos are the only army I have unpainted!! |
