The deadline for armybook submissions is November 1st
I'm hoping to get the RC to APPROVED status by that point - what issues, if any, are there with the list?

Lack of play testing with Daemon Engines other that Khorne affiliated ones. Can't think of other issues at the moment.
Anyone else?

I've tested the Nurgle Blight Drones and they seemed fine.

Silver Towers and Daemon Knights are from L&TD and are probably going to be fine?

It's the combination with Chaos Space Marines which could require some points adjustments.

A couple of queries

- why is the warhound inspiring
- has there been much use of the scout formation? I'm not sure anybody else can field a six strong formation of scouts(+transport) with 4+ saves

The scout formation is not something I've tried spamming.

The Chaos Warhound has inspiring IIRC because in 40k they have a bunch of upgrades that inspire their troops and scare the enemy, but are otherwise identical to Imperial Warhounds, and inspiring was thought a good approximation.

I use 1 Scout formation in just about every game I play with this army.
I haven't found it much of an issue (besides the normal annoyance that Scouts can be). The lack of a character upgrade effects these guys in comparison to regular Chaos retinues. If you add transport, this formation comes to 230pts which is a reasonably high cost for a screening formation.
Most infantry Scouts would be deployed to make use of cover so the 4+ armour doesn't make much impact for me.

I quite like the Warhound being Inspiring (something to do with war horns from memory). It helps set the titan apart but isn't overpowering.

Yes the Chaos Warhound is equipped with a Dirge Caster in Wh40k which makes all Chaos units in a 12" radius Fearless. Best approximation for this in Epic is Inspiring for the Warhound itself.

The datasheet obviously will have the same critical as the loyal Warhound.

The intention was to have an army list with the layout as in the attachment of this posting.

the harbinger stats in the pdf here need updating - it's got bombs instead of incendiary bombs

BL,

Love the workup mate, it looks great. You might want to talk to E&C about his upcoming release to add the imagery for the list. What would you think of using forumware to populate your pics for this list? I am a big fan of this list and it is the basis of my Skulltakers warband from the World Eaters.

Cheers
Aaron

Is this skulltakers warband list anywhere on the forum?
Sorry for the hijack.

Hey Blind,

In short no mate, it is a name of a WE Warband in the Siege of Vraks IA books. There are a number of Khorne lists within the Chaos section. Check out Frogbear's and Dobbsy's lists. If you are having trouble finding them check their signature blocks for links. I used the RC because I wanted an armoured feel to my WE.

Cheers
Aaron

Both the Reaver and the Warlord Titans for the Red Corsairs have CC weapons.

CC weapons on Titans are rarely a good option, even worse on a Warlord with his 15 cm move speed.

Independently of that fact, having such a weapon option on both Titans limits the reasons why one would include the mighty WEs in a list.

Any chance one of them (Warlord poreferably) have his CC weapon replaced by something else? Even A LAser Burner or a Melta Cannon, which a re also assault weapons would be nice.

Cheers,

A.

i disagree - having the anti-titan specialist forced to move forward while laying down a battery of suppression fire is exactly right.

I can run the stats through my chaos titan spreadsheet Blind - it'll give a semi-accurate point cost for them.
