For Plaguelord Titan: With a CC-weapon and some long range possibly Indirect weapons it would be a very tough nut for a BTS guard.

I will come back to this when I get home tonight, but I just wanted to say awesome idea on the inclusion of the Plague titans (I still have to look at them myself), and regarding the CC weapon, it could probably do without in favour of some support weapon.

Why not just do what Frogbear did and make Death Guard plague marines different from the BL ones? (Which in retrospect I doubt anyone now would make fearless.) So he has masses of World Eater Berserker's, different to Black Legion Berserker's.

The only mistake is having an army full of fearless units.

And opinions on the lists (which I asked for) were that it did not matter if units were different from the BL list. As I see it, the cult legions in a BL list are those on a last "hurrah". They are not there to last.

Yup. There can and is a difference between Black Legion Khorne Berzerkers and World Eaters Khorne Berzerkers.

Black Legion Khorne Berzerkersare CSM who become totally CloseCombat nutters who "recently" (whatever this term means in a time-warped ragion as the Eye of Terror) became such nutters. They are few and gather together in small groups of an already Khorne dedicated Warband. They constantly have to prove their wrth to their not so dedicated brothers and will do some unsensible things in their rage which they can't control so efficiently as their World Eaters kin.

World Eaters Khorne Berzerkers are totally CC nutters from the beginning and in a Warband totally made out of them. There is a much stronger bond of comradehsip between them and they are used for 10.000 years to control their rage so they can act more sensible in an engagement.

Tomakeit short:
World Eaters Khorne Berzerkers can "ride the wave" of frenzy.
Black Legion Khorne Berzerkers are driven by the frenzy.


Same holds true for the other Cult Black Legionaires and their Cult Legion counterparts.

No. Black Legion Plague Marines are Black Legionaires who become Nurgle nutters over the course of time.

Death Guard Plague Marines are Nurgle nutters since the Horus Heresy.
