1. The areas where you think the list is working well
World Eaters have always been good at the Drop force. This list keeps that theme. You do not want these guys up close as an opponent. It has been frustrating to see so many assaults lost however due to the fate of the dice. I believe we have done a good job in taking an all Fearless army and making it into something people do not refuse to play.
The Blood Rage rule also captures the base behaviour of the legion with obvious weaknesses in rallying blast markers and gaining air support (although Hellblades are still to be discussed). The beastmenh were a pleasant addition that assist the force to play a ground game and not just the boring Drop/Teleport force. Also not having the 0-1 restrictions that can plague a list
should show that the list is balanced for the power it puts out.

2. The areas where the list still isn't where you'd like it to be
Hellblades. They are probably worth 225 points. Yet like TRC has advised, a force with a Banelord should be able to have 1 set of aircraft. This discussion really needs the Chaos AC to come to the table.
Apart from these, the most recent discussions on the Daemon Engines has convinced me that these need to be more generic. I am currently working on these. By doing this, it will allow me to introduce the standard Brass Scorpions into the list as well. My only wish is to keep the Cannon of Khorne and the Doom Blaster separate from all other Assault Engines.
I would also like to see alternatives to the summoning rules, with Black Legion's ideas of a Host implemented to reduce the cost of Greater Daemons. I am happy to trial such rules, yet it would be good to have a Chaos AC in the discussions as well. I really do not want to waste time on playtests for nothing at this stage of the development.

3. The items that are of the most concern
1. No active Chaos AC and no light at the end of the tunnel for all the work I and others have put in ÂÂ
2. Daemon Engines. They are a pain in the arse at the moment with my recent change of opinion. ÂÂ
3. Also, getting the World Eater Apocalypse list finished. Not sure it will work, but it should be there as an alternative.

4. The plan going forward
1. Finish 20 playtests
2. Develop the generalised Daemon Assault Engines
3. Develop revised stats for the Daemon Support Engines (Cannon and Doom Blaster)
4. Complete the Apocalypse list
5. Get back in touch with all the assistants to the project to see whether it is worth getting a professional (Raiders) book released)
After all the above, I am going to have some fun with a Khorne List (not World Eaters), some ideas that TRC gave, maybe some work on the Tzeentch (Thousand Sons) list - as the current force list is unviable, and finally a
secret squirrel project that I am not going to divulge until I do some homework first before releasing the idea to yet another small niche of the EpicA forum ÂÂ
