For the Chosen, I am undecided. I may paint them almost black with tinges of red to make them stand out.

Im thinking of either converting some chain axes to denote chosen, or doing berserkers with leashed flesh hounds/hounds of Xaphan.

I knew this reminded me of a modelling idea...

This idea would make an excellent incentive for World Eater Chosen

Ahh nice find, i boycotted DOWII due to DRM but that is a great pic. I was just going to cut away the 'ruff' section from a flesh hound, then have thin chain going from neck to berserker's hand, 2 pairs per base.

I got my hands on some grave guard heads as well, many of the wings seem a bit on the large side to me. Agree on using bloodletter heads on a few, i was also thinking of the odd lobster claw from deamonettes and the odd claw/blade fist mutation using plaguebearer swords. Maybe a fleshound or beastman head here and there as well.

3 more days to go to gain feedback on this list before I freeze it for 6 months.

I have nothing at this time recorded for consideration or change.

Any other feedback or suggestions? If so, please make them known

Cheers.....

I am extending the date for the freeze by another day or two to take into account the ruling for Initiative (Daemon Engines going to 2+ initiative).

I need to make a judgement call on how it effects the list, to what extent Daemon Engines will play a part, and whether cost reductions are warranted.

I will keep the list updated with my thoughts and findings.

I am looking to close this off soon.

- I have updated the current initiative rule to effect Daemon Engines (excluding War Engines)
- I have increased the Lord of Battle cost by +25 points (as per Steve54 request to increase points as apart from the LatD list)

* Still reviewing the Blood Rage rule to see if I am happy with it due to the initiative rule change (most likely no change required so as to run it through some play tests)

I would think no more than 48 hours at this time (betting that there are not going to be enforced 'across the board' changes) just to make sure I get any more feedback coming in from this or other threads.

Cheers...

Miniature collection is nearing good enough level for some test games now
After ConVic, I'll be looking to get some games in!
I missed out on 40 berserkers on eBay today, but did not feel like going into >$1/6mm figure territory :P I am sure one of you fellows did pick them up however :P

I am done with buying up all the Berserkers on eBay and Taccom. I have all I need.

The normal price was about 5 pounds for 4 stands of Berserkers, yet I see interest has increased. I do hope that is due to a list such as this one.

I plan on closing this list and the Emperor's Children off tonight so stay tuned for an update and finalised list.

Then let the play tests begin! :)

Cheers....

You realise this allows you to get berserkers for free effectively if you do it the other way round?
Look at the total sale price for the 4 box split sets on ebay, its around double the cost of buying 4 boxes.

Buy 4 boxes
Keep berserkers, sell off the valuable non berserker minis
? ? ?
Profit
;)

To quote the late Douglas Adams -
"Bloody hell, now that's what I call thinking!
How come we never think of things like that?
I guess our minds must be too highly trained."

Good thinking Apoc!

Keep up the great work FB!

Hmm, that would be an initial outlay of AUD$148 to acquire 8 stands of 6mm infantry :P
I don't have any love whatsoever for listing on eBay, nor do I think i'd make it back after listing and paypal fees- nor could I sneak that maneuver past the shadow treasurer ;-)
