I think the size of them is less of an issue if you aren't using them in a CSM force.

In an all daemon army it will probably look fine.

As I recall JJ's guidance during the Black Legion development, the current studio thinking is towards larger and more impressive Greater Daemons, more along the lines of the Forgeworld models.  As far as I'm concerned, the current GD stats should be roughly scout titan sized.  They have 3DC and roughly the equivalent of 1-1.5 titan weapon systems.
