Ye fair enough, i agree the 4 char names are confusing.

However if ? ? ? Lord matches CSM Lord, it is still a lord= lord relationship between lists, just with a different 'fluff' prefix.

Make blood lord into blood warlord, keeper of skulls into champion of skulls keeper of chains bearer of chains?

Just wonder if there could be a halfway option of keeping one key part of the name from the BL list with a fluff addition, just to make sure they match up at least in part. Don't mind either way, but, yes, more transparent names would be better.

In this perspective, the Chaos prefix of the BL xould be replaced by "Khorne" or "Skull" and it would make:

- Skull Lord or Khorne Lord
- Skull Warlord or Khorne Warlord
- Skull Icon Bearer or Khorne Icon Bearer
- Skull Champion or Khorne Champion

I suppose this would be ok. As the Skull part would quickly be unmentioned in games, but would still give the paper feel.

Skull Champion is the GW name für a Khorne Berzerker Champion. So the "Skull-" prefix is fitting.

Why are Dreadclaws more expensiive for WE than any other Chaos List?

It was done due to their CC value and the point values at the time - pay less as foot troopers and make that up in the drop.

As i like 25 point margins it was the best solution - remember that the dreadclaw option is significantly better than any transport option. My challenge is how to even that up a bit.

Is the 25 points only margins negotiable?

I would prefer standard costs for standard units across lists if possible. But this is not a big deal.

Current legionnaires stats being better than berzerkers is a bigger deal imho.

Juggernauts of Khorne

50 points per unit
5 to 8 Khorne Juggernaut units

Stats:
INF, 20cm, 3+,3+,6+, MW,
Fearless, Infiltrator, Invulnerable Save, Mounted, Walker

This is a solid formation so I would be adverse with playing around with any points at this stage. Reason why they may get overlooked is inability to garrison and take upgrades.

An option for a pact perhaps? I'd love to see them summoning a bunch of Hounds before their assault charge.

I still like the idea of 4 strong Juggernaut scout formations.

Also why the 5 number? why not just allow 4-8?

4 is an option as is daemon summoning. Without the net for another week or two however, doing stuff from my iphone is really not inspiring me to work on anything till i get that up and running again.

Point taken concerning the iphone conundrum.

So there any possibility of having the Legionnaire stats evolve into something different?

If not, what would be the fluff justification for the WE legionnaires to be about twice better then Khorne Zerkers on Close Combat?
