Yeah, but nowadays it has the super-sniping barrage ability, according to you. :-P

For what it's worth, I fear facing Decimators more than I do Death Wheels. I just find them harder to deal with. Death Wheels tend to do more damage early in the game, but they also tend to die earlier in the game.

I can deal with Death Wheels, in general, but Decimators are, despite their lesser stats, tougher nuts to crack, at least in part because their slower speed means they stay under the CSM AA umbrella for longer, and their CC of 4+ is offputting for cheap CC attacks, plus their greater weapons range and lack of need to be in FF range means they can stay at 30-45cm and just fire away...

I have to say I haven't used it since my eye's have been opened to how super barrages actually are :)

The statement was referring to the potential it could have IF placed in the right situation. A Blitz Guard, while effective, is a waste of the 225 points.

If there is an attacking force heading your way, not doubt 1 or 2 of these on Overwatch about 15-30cm up the board would not doubt be an effective use of 225 points - even more so if it gets to support some FF that happen to stroll your way. It could change the opponent's strategy to their detriment or they take on that 'world of hurt'.

That's all I meant :)
