Personally, I'd rather see a more standard approach too. The only problem I had, really, was purely thematic. The Banelord is a significant departure from the Warlord. The Ravager is again, a significant departure from the Reaver. To have just a stock standard Warhound Titan just seemed wrong.

Here are the responses so far. I have put some responses for areas of concern that I have with certain names:


Bladestorm  -  a little too related to Eldar
Hephaestus Megabolter - a little too Greek for this Italian
Vulcan Doom-bolter
Daemon Mega-bolter
Daemon Warp-bolter
Reaper Megabolter - The whole 'Reaper' name I see as being reserved for Nurgle IMO
Reaper - as above
Doomshaker - sorry but I cannot say or write this one without smiling or laughing

So out of 8 I have 3 suggestions so far to review.

Any more out there?

I like Cerberus. Fits with both the canine-esque quality of Warhounds, and given the 3 shots from the newer weapon, has a certain thematic sense.

Thanks Warhead.

I was not really content with all other options, yet when I saw that one, it made me think. Then Morgan piped up with his approval and it just seemed right.

The fact that I can relate the Cerberus theme to the Warhound's weapon and possible name change is just a bonus as well. So thank you very much.

I also want to thank everyone else for their time and ideas on this one. Simple things such as these really help flush a list out.
