What sort of base sizes are people using for their DRM forces?

I am talking to a local laser cutting place here to perhaps source some lasercut wooden bases to sell via Cloud City Games and was curious as to the most popular base sizes for infantry. And vehicles as well if you base those.

I tend to use the 20x40mm Warmaster size bases myself.

Hi PG,
I'm using Epic-size bases (both types), although I wouldn't mind Warmaster 40x20 bases either.

I am going to see how difficult it is to make epic style bases as well.

I got turned on to the Warmaster bases when I was doing up some of my Chaos force. I like the way that the bases allows for more dynamic spacing of the minis. The Blood Angles I did all had the Terminators on those bases as well.

The spacing DOES offer possibilities - hordes, spaced recce troops, large model units, or even based vehicles.
The laser cutting chap  should have no problems with getting any of these sizes. I could do it at work if our own laser wasn't such a pain to change over from the current welding and deposition configuration to cutting. Although this might improve soon... :)
And - no, I couldn't do this on a commercial scale. Easy enough, but I can't hog laser time.

I will also be using Warmaster sized bases. I spoke to Doug a while ago (so this may have changed since then) but as far as I remember the bases that were considered for production by DRM were that size too.

yes, the DRM range of bases is 10x40mm, but there's also round ones for those that prefer that style.

We've got a resin caster testing out casting them for us now. Hopefully they'll get better results than the last couple of places we've tried & at a cost which will mean they wont double the price of the infantry themselves!

10x40mm for infantry.
15x40mm for bikes, rough riders etc.
20x20mm for dreanoughts, attack bikes, sentinels etc.

In addition small 17mm dia metal discs for add-ons such as commissars, IG supreme commander and other characters.

Damn thought I had posted here!

Anyway I like round bases now days. 25mm or 20mm - just so long as they are flat enough for 6mm figures!

I tried some round bases for infantry but ended up using them for vehicles. Except for skimmer which I use the clear plastic GW flight stands for.

Some large disks at the maximum size allowed so 40mm Diameter for things like Defilers and big non war engines. It's a pain to cut down a terminator base.
