I've been dealing with Canada Post and some other firms for the last week or so trying to see if there is any way to get my postage rates down.
Unfortunately it appears that there isn't anything I can do other than eat some of the postage costs myself.
I was thinking of adding an optional "flat rate" shipping option to the site. The rates would be (in US$)
$0- $50 - $4.5 $50-$100 $9.5 $100-$150 $14.5 $150-$250 $19.95 $250 + free
What do people think of those rates?
I would still include the regular Canada Post rates as well for those instance when using a cheaper option from them would save you money

I can look into it but I don't think that the rates are as much of a problem for international buyers.
