Hi everybody . I was looking at the Centaur minis when I noticed some inconsistencies with the 6mm scale . As can be seen in these pics https://www.commandhorizon.com/wp-conte ... s/chc7.jpg , https://www.commandhorizon.com/wp-conte ... s/chc8.jpg , Centaur infantrymen are too big in comparison to their vehicles . I think it's infantry that is out of scale , since it's the newest release for Command Horizon . So , are the Centaur infantrymen inconsistent with the 6mm scale ? Thank you very much .

I am a big fan of the CH Centaurs, and I have a few packs. The CH scale is a more true 6mm, making it a little smaller than equivalent Epic miniatures and so the medium vehicles work better as lighter Epic vehicles. The infantry are supposed to be larger than human sized, and so they look fine, being bigger than Epic infantry.

Command Horizon is designed to be played at a higher organisational level to Epic, and so I think the models are probably more abstract in scale to match.

Don't own any though.

The original fluff had it that Centaurs are capable of folding their bodies up into small volumes )( Better to hide form predators on open plains - they were herd animals in their evolutionary development), and have no concept of the human feeling of claustrophobia, so their APCs are compact and the troops pack themselves in like sardines.

Why I like them - they aren't people in rubber suits :)

Yes, generally CH is too small for Epic as it is "true" 6mm like GHQ ... Many Epic models a little bigger that "6" ... closer to 6-8mm ... CH did make some large mobile "city" models for the one race ... anything that big could work with Epic ... BUT ... with the Centaurs, they are aliens, so their size could vary from the standard human. Aliens would/could [do?] come in all shapes and sizes ... The same goes for CH's alien Worms ... it's a big universe ...
