The Engineers Kinetic Barriers are only large enough to cover a single Khazari, the Buggies use considerably more powerful versions and the Kinetic Barrier turret that comes in the pack will shroud anyone within a close proximety to the buggy.

PS: There certainly are building sized Kinetic Barriers, hence the massive Guild siege engines that are used to crack them open....
