We are looking to relaunch the Exodus Wars range. We've made a lot of progress since we started in 2005 and as a result we've a lot of legacy products that could use updating. We removed a ton of duplicate products (the Legionnaires Combat Squad and Legionnaire Support Squad for example) but with the Exodus Wars game around the corner and with so many new miniatures coming out we spy an opportunity to upgrade the range as a whole to mirror the Exodus Wars ruleset. No miniatures will go out of production - some may become component only though. My question you (we got there eventually) is as follows: - Would you like to see discounted plastic bases in the blisters? |

If there was a way of selecting which type of bases you could order with them I'd be interested, but for infantry only. All of my infantry are on the old-style Epic square bases. I suspect I'd be in the minority here, and I'm not even sure that you could supply them (I didn't spot them on your website) so I suspect this is a moot point. If I was a newcomer to 6mm gaming and had only started my collection, I'd definitely be looking to get bases with infantry. |

Alas - we wouldn't be able to give an option as to what bases the blisters contain as they would be shipped out to our distributors too. |

I'd include them with everything, it's nice to know you have all you need and won't need to buy more bases, which in many cases is a hidden cost |

Went for option 4, the reason being that if you are gearing your range towards your own game system it would be a logical step to include the necessary bases to be used for said game system. Basically as every other company out there does, like GW, PP, Mantic, Battlefront, Wyrd etc

I said bases for Infantry, flyers and Behemoths ... I do Not mount Armor/Vehicles ... I like EW's various Infantry base types, that are plain with no detail ... like GW ... like most of the rest of my forces ...

Could you do a deal that packs of basses get a discount when bought in conjunction with an order of miniature blisters ? Everyone is happy ?? |

Yes, but only for infantry, flyers and Behemoths as as L4 mentions, there's a large percentage of players out there that do not base vehicles and most product lines already do not ship vehicles with bases AFAIK. This would be following suite. Just be sure to make appropriate sized bases for your vehicles available for us that DO like to base them!

I think the inclusion of bases should be taken for granted in any wargame miniatures package. |

I have voted for in everything- I personally would need any any time soon, but its such a PITA when Ive ordered huge amounts of minis and then have to source/buy bases afterwards. Even if you end up with too many they are always useful. Mostly I feel that including bases is good for newbies as well, and I'm very much pro to make as many new people feel welcomed to the 6mm camp. |
