Have been working on my DRM & E/W TO&Es ... I think we talked about this before, but stat equivalents ... I was figure AFVs could be sub'd as proxies. Like the most DRM & E/W APCs could sub for Rhinos or Chimeras. The Achilles MBT = L/Russ, the Trident = Destroyer Tank Hunter. All E/W other AFVs have an Epic doppelganger. Like the Apollo = Basilisk, etc. ... The DRM AFVs, the Mamoth = a Ragnarok, Cruiser = Salamander Recon AFV, Hunter = Hellhound, Tiger = a Siegfried, Chassuer, Rampart = L/Russ. Maybe a Bastion = Vanq ? |

L4, here's what I've come up with for my Minervans. (EW only) Chimaera THB - Paris IFV HF - Prometheus ML - Hector IFV Salamander Scout - Agamemnon FAO Salamander Command - Agamemnon FAO/mod Hellhound - Prometheus Valkyrie - Valkyrie Transport Vulture - Valkyrie LR - Achilles MBT LR Vanquisher - Achilles MBT/mod LR Exterminator - Achilles MBT/mod LR Executioner - Achilles MBT/mod LR Conquerer - Achilles MBT/mod LR Demolisher - Achilles MBT/mod LR Tank Destroyer - Trident LR Thunderer - Trident/mod Medusa SPAG - Apollo/mod Griffon - ? Basilisk - Apollo SPA Bombard - Cyclops Manticore - Cerberus Deathstrike - ? Hydra - Icharus Stormhammer - Exterminator Baneblade - Enforcer UPV Stormblade - Electra/mod Stormsword - Electra/mod Shadowsword - Electra As you can see, the Prometheus does double duty as the Chimaera Heavy flamer variant and the Hellhound, a problem most lists don't have. Several similar vehicles, most notably the Leman Russ variants, are easily done with simple barrel swaps. The Griffon has no counterpart, the Cyclops being a) reserved for the Bombard, and b) too large. The Deathstrike is also absent. None of these are a particular problem in my force, as I wouldn't use the Heavy Flamer Chimaera, Griffon, or Deathstrike anyway. |

Yes, I agree with most of that ... I think I'll use my Cyclops as a Griffin. And for Deathstrike I'm using the DRM Moridian Missile. I've even mounted some weapons a plt of my Hoplons to make a Chimera type IFV ...  And use the Gladius as a Razorback maybe ...

YO L4! That command tank looks good! I like the mix and match of the O-line and EW-line. I think your on to something. Oh and BTW, what was your buying experience like with the EW stuff? I'm thinking about a big purchase myself and I'd like to know what to expect. I'd love to get my hands on a couple dozen or so of some of their awesome tankage! EBB |

Great stuff. Minimal flash, crisp molding, stuff's already off the sprue. The worst thing I can say is that there's a piece of flash on the inside of the left hand tread on the rear on almost every MBT hull that needs removing with a razor saw. It accounts for 95% of the neccessary cleanup. Also note that all the EW Guild tanks (Excepting the MK I UPVs) are Otter-made. Shameless Plug for my current EW Minervan Legion project. |

Just to note ... I added extra sponsons from Otter's Cheese Carrier to the CMD Tank hull to bulk it up a bit ... For the larger Otter Manchu turret. Command vehicles like the M577 are "bulked up" a bit to have space for things like extra radios, etc. ...
