Sorry about the double post from my workbench thread.
Technically this isn't the version that will go up in the EW store but I still thought I'd post here anyway. The official version may be more miniatures to a base but I'm not sure yet.

Anyway I just couldn't help myself. While Tom is busy figuring out the exact formation sizes of his Royal Empire Snipers I thought I'd sneak ahead and paint up one of the minis for my own personal use.
Unfortunately I didn't notice that I had accidentally bent the rifle barrel when placing the mini but apart from that I'm pretty happy with the result.

It could be the color of the uniform but somehow I'm reminded of "Enemy at the Gates". It could also be the shape of the helmet but there's a slightly Wehrmacht feel to the model I think :p :D

WWII German or Modern US Helmet ... a good infantryman especially a Sniper knows not to stick his weapon out the window ... it gives away his position.  And WMN, did his homework as well !  Like I said, can't wait to get some of those Boys !  :D

Thanks Paul. I'm really looking forward to seeing the DRM sniper models painted up as well. The bare metals looked awsome so I'm sure they'll turn out fantastic after your usual treatment. :;):  Like I mentioned earlier the 6mm sci fi community has been in need of some good sniper models in a long time. It's great to see this niche of the market filled with a good selection of high quality models as well :)
