Try XE.com for currency conversion. At current exchange rates £0.20 is the equivalent of $0.327. They're probaby cheaper bought in packs though.

You get 100 pennies in a pound and 20p is another way of saying £0.20

The models should become available as full formations once the full stock has been cast up AFAIK :) The pre-release was a little Halloween special to feed the wolves so to speak. Check some of the other EW infantry formations for a price guideline. :D

Is that a humorous response?  I can't tell.

And how much is 4.63p anyway?   :sulk: Me <--- uninformed American

Now am I right that the English currency system used to be a bit buggier, and specifically non-decimal.

(kind of like the English measurement system... still in use in certain former colonial holdings.)

Correct, it was non-decimal in the past. I think it was 20 pennies per shilling and 12 shillings per pound. Or was it 12 pennies per shilling and 20 shillings per pound?

12 pennies (d) in a shilling, 20 shillings in a pound. It gets more confusing when you throw farthings, half-crowns and guineas into the mix.

Guineas in particular were excellently daft. What exactly was the use of a currency unit worth one pound and one shilling? It'd be the equivilent of having a coin worth £1.05 today.

I am using a Bengali language keyboard with the letters painted on, no pound sign on it.

So yes - £0.20 each and I may or may not be kidding about the individual wrapping and packing :)

So the cheapest guild infantry I believe on the site is £6.95 (cut and paste the pound sign just for you) for 150 men and women, in 6mm. Or 4.63p (just under £0.05) each.

20p seems to be the standard infantry component cost but you will note on the online store a pack of 50 costs £3.95 or just under 8p (just under $0.13 and euro 0.09 and indian rupee 6.13!)

Ain't 6mm better than 28mm :)

Plus a fireteam of Edinites at 30.65 rupees costs the same as a simple meal of rice and veg :)

Just to clear up some confusion: I got a mail asking if I had sculpted these. My apologies if people got that impression (I'm definitely not that talented :D ) I just did some minor repair work and adjustments to them after the first casting attempt had failed. I'm afraid I don't know the name of the sculptor, but credit where credit is due: He's the talented guy!  :p

Can't wait to get my own batch to paint up.

How does one 'pre-order' via the site?

Or do we request a pre-order here?

Chaps,

Slight dilemma, we've just got a huge box of thousands of Edenite Heavy Infantry through - which is ace, but unfortunately no rifleman to make them into Infantry Formations. I feel really rubbish about charging you fine fellows 20p a miniature if you are buying them in bulk so how would you feel about some dedicated Heavy infantry formations? Would five heavy infantry in a squad be excessive?

By next Weds we should have more riflemen so will have full on Infantry formations back in stock, hopefully with some of the assault infantry too!

In other news, I have a shed load of Khazari Engineers which are duly heading to our painter (the right honourable WMN) for addition to the component store. Along with a full stock of the phase two vehicles.

Regards,

Tom.

I would definitely purchase the heavy ones in 5's because I would be using them as Immortals.  The DRM mini's I have are fine, but your pieces are MUCH better for Immortals.
