I can feel yet another battle group coming on!

We will of course be doing army deals including them - The Guild Armoured Legion (featuring 100 tanks for the true treadhead) and the Guild Armoured Demi-Legion (three squadrons of 10 tanks, 30 in total for the quasi treadheads).

As the range is fleshed out the vehicles will be added to the Army Deals, so people will be able to choose from the variants and create a more balanced Armoured Legion. Or if you can't wait, just get a hundred discounted MBT's .

There is currently no line breaker in the EW universe quite like a Guild Armoured Legion . Although that will change .

Second half of MBT mold poured last night.

Tom made the dire mistage of suggesting that the Guild might need some kind of command tank/scouting vehiclee. Before he had a chance to retract his sggestion I scuffled off to sketch up something. This is the result.

I can't decide if the vehicle should have a "dome" style radar like the other guild tanks, or if this is a good opportunity to have something a bit more detailed. What do you think?

Right now we're discussing minor adjustments before the final model is sent off to the printers. One of the main issues seems to be that the turret is placed too far back on the tank, so this needs to be fixed. The rest is just minor tweaking to make the models more suitable for casting, and a few additional details.

Agreed. When I first looked at your comparison pic above, it looked like the turret was facing the wrong way. Then it occurred to me that it was facing the right way, but would look better if it sat closer to the front of the MBT.

I was wondering about the turret placement, all the way at the back made me think it would have difficulty shooting at something on a lower elevation. I'm glad to see the chimera comparisons too. It's a fair bit larger than I expected too at nearly the Land Raider size.

I think the turret placement may have been an error when we made the peg that attaches the turret to the hull, but regardless it is good to have some physical models in your hands where you can catch that sort of thing before any moulds are made.
Photos and 3d models still distort the actual look of the model.

It is a bit bigger than expected. The "footprint" is slightly shorter than an E40k plastic Land Raider, but somewhat lower, so it doesn't appear as bulky. The Ragnarok tank is probably a good place to start if you want to get an impresion of the hull size: they're about the same height, Guild tank is about 1 mm wider and 1.5 mm longer.

PS forgot to add: This copy is the relatively low resolution print. The low resolution is particularly visible on slightly sloped areas like the front side of the track guards. The actual bronze will be a bit sharper. Also, if the gun looks a bit funny, it is because the fragile blue plastic broke before Otter had a chance to make a resin copy of it
