There was an amphibious design, but we didn't make that.

Yeah. The Amphibious APC had a few design issues. I think we figured out a way to solve them, but there's just so many other things on the schedule, so it's been mothbagged for the time being.

Yes, I mentioned the Amtrack.  I printed the original line drawings from here ...  Well the Amtrack can wait ... But I like the design.  :)

Would the StuG be the up-gunned version of the MBT?  Or was there another variant of the MBT with a slightly fatter, shorter cannon barrel?

The Stug L4 is referring to is a tank hunter variant. Slightly higher caliber hull mounted gun. Then there's the cyclops mortar which is essentially a short barreled gun mounted on top of the chassis.

The mortar version shoots a concrete derivative onto bricks at a great distance.

Edit - This is what happens when I drink and Yen isn't around.

That would be a very useful engineering vehicle...or at least a realllly fun method of taking out enemy infantry.

So what happens when she IS  around? Or are we not allowed to know for our own safety?  :p

Yes, that is what I meant by calling the TD a StuG ...  As we all know(or should  :glare:), a number of guns types were mounted on WWII German Assault Guns AFVs from a short barreled L24 75mm to higher velocity L48, L71 and even a 105mm ...  Plus an 88mm on the Panzer V JagdPanther ...   So a StuG AFV covers a lot of weapons types. From an assault gun for close support to a tank hunter/destroyer ...

While waiting for more updates from O-man I just thought I'd dig out the resin prototype turrets for a full lineup of what's been done so far. Still missing is the Amphibious APC, but Tom has given the go-ahead for a revised version of that, so we might do that once the Exterminator is finished.

From left to right:
MBT - Tank Hunter - IFV - Flamethrower - APC - Command/Scout - Mortar - SPA - MRL - AA

Can anyone re-post this image?

Here we go. Please note that these are the prototypes. Some modifications were done to a number of the designs before the bronzing stage..
