I'm not really keen on the idea. Things that stick up tend to get knocked about during play (at least if you're a clumsy oaf like me), and create havoc with battle-tested minis transport systems.

That, along with casting issues is my main concern as well. If we're going to go through with it I think we will model a curring grove along the endge of the swivel so it is easily removed by those who wand a more gamer-friendly miniature. Alternatively the arm can of course just be left in the horizontal position in which it is cast.

I am not too keen on having the arm cast as a seperate piece. The more small fiddly bits the greater the chances of mispackaged or lost parts Look at the FW eldar vehicles for a classic example of this...  :glare:

Having it as a separate piece is a definite no for now, it would significantly increase moulding costs which would in turn increase the RRP. My main concern is that it will have casting difficulties at that height. Maybe we could shorten it? I'll send a copy of the picture to our casters and see what they think.

Make sure you get an updated pic from Otterman of it in the lowered casting position.

Lowered casting position definitely sounds like the best idea.

Excellent. I can't wait to see how the small adustments to the MRL will look on a production model :)

Oh, any chance of a sneek peek of the blues for the second batch?  :;):

This is what the second and third cohort of MBT modules would look like, if they got put through look-like-crap filters. The filters in this case are a blue-transluscent wax and clumsy corrupted silicon mold.

Of the bronzes the twin minigun is I reckon the best :) Otherwise of the second bath its a nifty tankhunter and I like the apc? (single small gun) turreted one.

A question - when it comes to packaging will it be x hulls and 2x turrets? Either something like the GW whirlwind/hunter option or say 3 tanks and 1 each of a specialist option?

Alternatively can we order turrets separately:) (In case anyone hadn't seen what I was thinking of! - I can imagine a lot of indifferent GW tanks getting an awful lot better with the addition of the odd turret! The humble 1st ed rhino leaps to mind as the main culprit.)

Awsome O-man :D Can't wait to see these in the resin. Once I've had a chance to play around with them a bit I'll give my usual critique. Funny how clearly visible the shrinkage from the blues to the production hulls is in these photos.

edit: Oh and TRC: I'm not sure. That's Tom's department, so I'll leave that to him :)

Hulls will 'probably' be packaged with just one turret each in packs of 3 and packs of 10. The MBT is currently for sale just as a formation of 10, but when a picture of three comes available, that formation size will go up too.

However, the turrets and chassis will be available for component order. The component ordering system is working now, we just need to populate it with appropriate images :).

It'll be the only way to get a few rare EW models as well, like the Shadow Baroness, Legionnaire Commander and Khazari Road Warrior War Chief.

The SPAA and MRLS bronzes look awesome.  Looking forward to grabbing some of them.
