Hi Kealios and welcome to the show  

The basic MBT is on its way to my desk and should arrive by mail early next week. Hopefully I can get it painted before I'm off on holidays from the 26th to july 7th. As soon as I got painted pics Tom will put it for sale in the online store. Also Otterman have the test prints of most of the artillery variants on their way so these are should also become ready within a month.

Just as well we've been building up a stockpile for the initial release!

Well... that and the fact that I keep stealing them for my private army, I'm taking 16 of the monsters to the tourney alone! 30 of them have been offered as prizes too . So this weekend at least three people will be wandering home with an Armoured Centuria .

A postman dragging his tired arms behind him was seen leaving my mailbox earlier today. Upon investigation it turned out the reason for the poor man's suffering was a package containging a mountain of lead fresh from the UK.

IN short, the EW MBTs arrived this morning. I'll try to have them painted and ready for the online store this week, but unfortunately I'm off on holidays on friday. Anyway, just as a teaser, here's a quick pic of some of the models. I also added Ottermans evaluation resin copies of the next batch of turret variants to give an impression of what the range is going to look like once finished. The resin turrets are still having some final adjustments made before being sent off to bronzing so take these pics with a grain of salt

Any chance of slapping up a Leman Russ, rhino and land raider alongside a few to give a sense of comparison?

(please note that this is an early test piece. The turret was moved further forward and some hatches were changed for the production model)

The tank is about as wide as an E40k Chimera with side skirts, slightly longer and about the same height. Including the turret it is about the same height as a FW LEman Russ hull.

An interesting observation upon closer inspection: It seems the production models are slightly smaller than the original print-a-part piece. About 1 mm length wize and 0.5 in width (actually a bit more since we made the trim on the armor skirts smaller). Hardly noticable, but I suppose it might make those who felt the tanks were a bit on the large side happy :

Got 10 of these tanks as a prize on the weekend and they are really nice - they've inspired me to do a guard army, something I never thought would happen, problem is I need some more is there a release date for these?
