For a PDF list I think that they would have very few Super-Heavies with Baneblades being the most common.  I might limit the number of Shadowswords to something like 0-2.

Well the Baran are a PDF list too and they have no limits on their super-heavies either.

Ok no Steel Legion Stormblade in Imperial Armour, only a Stormsword of the 8th Armageddon Heavy Tank Company. But i found a Steel Legion Leman Russ Executioner. But it said that only a few Steel Legion Armoured Regiments fielded the Executioner.

Leman Russ Conqueror i have found a picture also. It is painted in Ash Wastes colours and has no markings. Because of this it's rumoured to be a Steel Legion tank but that it's more likely to be from another regiment.

An Armageddon Pattern Medusa i found also. So i will include them in the list.

Armageddon is one of the main manufacturer of Chimeras so perhabs i should include all turret variants of the Chimera?

Update.

Version 1.4
Removed Leman Russ Vanquisher
Added Medusa Battery as Company Upgrade
Added Stormsword to Super-heavy Tank Platoon

Added stats for Medusa (Armageddon Pattern) and Stormsword

Why Stormsword? Well it is a replacement for damaged Shadowswords and as such only available in limited numbers. So only fieldable as single tank. And it would be very useful in retaking Hivecitys from the Orks. :)

Thoughts are welcome :)

EDIT: Now without Bombards :)

BlackLegion, this downloads as a *.rar file. What are you using to open and view it with? Tried Word, Acrobat and Explorer, but none could open it.

Thanks, BlackLegion. That's perfick.

I would only comment on a few things.

Commissars; isn't the restriction on which units to add them to a bit, well, restrictive? I like being allowed to add Commissars to whatever unit I like. Granted, I would normally put them on the Commander unit, but I think it confuses things when you talk about Command Tanks when, from a rules point of view, there is no such thing in the list.

Snipers; whether these are to represent Ratlings or Guardsmen with sniper rifles, I don't think these are appropriate for an Armageddon PDF.

Medusa; I'm still vehemently against giving the Medusa siege gun barrage points.

Commissars: These restrictions are form Codex. ImperialGuard. The E:A IG armylist has essentially the Independent Commissar doctrine. Usually Commissars are only attached to senior and junior officers squads in infantry companies and to the command tank on tank companies. All other units can't have Commissars.

Snipers: In Codex: ImperialGuard the SteelLegion have Snipers. I think they fit. They are helpful to assassinate Nobz and Warbosses :)

Medusa: We have a separate thread for the Medusa :)

Soi have finished a new and prettier version of the Armageddon Steel Legion PDF army list and send it to Andy for SGs Epic Competition.

I have used the rulebook Commissar rules for simplicitys sake.

Here is the download link (hope it works):

SteelLegion PDF V1.6 downloadable here:

http://www.epic-battles.de/index.p....&id=779

Medusa looses Indirect Fire and some cosmetic changes. Pictures and tactical symblos will follow. Goal is the samelook as in the rulebook :)

Criticism is welcome and battle repords would be highly appreciated :)

Out of interest why medusa? Mech infantry tend towards IFV's and tank destroyers/mech infantry guns. Is the medusa such a beast?

The Armageddon Pattern Medusa is obviously built on Armageddon. So it will get used. :D
And it is a selfe propelled artillery piece so it has its place in a mechanised army. Yes you could think of it as a tank destroyer of some kind too.

Now here a stripped down (= no fancy colours or fluff text)and actualisized version V1.8 downloadable here.

Changes:
- My version of Commissar Special Rule
- removed Fire arcs of secondary weapons from Leviathan and Stormsword.
- Stormtroopers now have Valkyries instead of Chimeras.
- Vultures added
- altered units for Hive Militia Company
- added Imperial Guard Conscript unit

(Editors note, could discussion unless relevant to a Net EA steel legion, take place in the development thread.)

Trouble is you have to make it out of an SG basilisk and forgeworld medusa! (?3.89 per tank!)
