Sentinel Type Speed Amour CC FF LV 20cm 6+ 6+ 5+ Weapons Range Firepower Multilaser 30cm AP5+/AT6+ OR Lascannon 45cm AT5+ I think the above profile in addition to 4-8 at 25 points each would make them a more viable list choice for people. For those who would argue against the free lascannon upgrade and think it should cost something, I say look at the Razorback. Unless there has been some discussion about it that I am not aware of there's no price difference there between the twin heavy bolters and twin lascannons. And there's more a difference there than between a multilaser and lascannon. As an aside, this would also help the unit match the current model for it as many have pointed out. |

Both are very viable choises, but should be limited same weapon to whole formation. so that no guessing, what weapon is that is possible. Also I think no need for this kind of upgrade is necessary and brings question, should eldar get this kind of flexibility too? So no extra weapon sets! For example marine dread would be just fine with single AC+PF statline. |

I'm for it too. But IF there will be a variable formation size it should be 3 or 6 Sentinels in the formation because 3 vehicles form a squadron. So the Sentinel formation would constist of 1 or 2 squadrons of Sentinels. And shure it should be a all Lascannon or all MultiLaser. |

I went for just the lascannon weapon for free. Not sure 8 sentinels in one formation is really a scout formation, and not 6 as they come in packs of 8! |

I'll agree with the point that the Sentinels should all be of the same variant. @Charad I like a little bit of customization in some units. You're right though, too much detracts from the game. That's why I suggested only a single upgrade as opposed to Autocannon/Missle Launcher/Multi-melta etc. I don't think it's a huge problem so long as they are all the same type. Also, giving this option changes the tactical uses of the formation making the list that much more versatile. And that, I think, adds some fun. |

3 is worse than 4 for Epic - 1 hit, 1 dead, 2 Blast markers. 3 strong broken 4 strong not! I would like the free upgrade OR the assault cannon and lascannon versions stuck in the appendix. Leave the 8 strong formation to other lists. |

Lascannon upg is much more effective in overwatch due to 15cm more range. And I'll prefer lascannons over multilaser, because IG has never suffered from lack of AP.  And why I'm against is that sentinels are so good formation already, cheap activations and scouts and as TRC mentioned, 4 is good number.  Also visually multilaser doesn't differ from lascannon so much... |

I agree with Hena, not a problem that needs fixing, though maybe not entirely against the lascannon upgrade. Definitely nothing else though. |

Ok. In this case then someone should invent a TRUE Armageddon Steellegion Armylist Because the one in the rulebook crealy isn't. |

Why is any change needed for Sentinels ?- they are used in virtually every IG list I have ever come across Is this not just another case of change for changes sake and a desire to put every 40k option into Epic lists |
