I've come across an old Imperial Guard tunneling vehicle in my models collection, I think it was called a Mole (The Termite being the smaller one, this being the medium sized one). Has anyone thought of any suggested rules to operate these under Epic:A? How did they operate in the older editions? |

I think that the simplest way is just to use them as drop pods, if you dont want to create new rules for them. Otherwise, as stated, some rules are around. |

I started to deisgned some rules for tunnelers when the Trygon made a reappearance on the nid list, but never finished them but here they are anyway. Tunneler Units capable of tunneling will have tunneler(xcm) in their note section. the xcm is their speed undeground. At the start or end of a move a tunneler may delcare that it is diving or surfacing, it may not do both during the same move. It may, however, if it is a transport combine diving with boarding troops and surfacing with unloading troops. Naturally it can't unload/load troops whilst still underground. Whilst underground no weapons may effect a tunneller nor may its weapons be used. Finally, whilst undeground the tunneller may not be envolved in any engagements (it has to surface to do so). |
