Anyone have any idea what makes up each type of regiment? Infantry. 3000 men, what else? Mechanised. ? men, ? chimera, what else? Armour. ? Leman Russ, what else? Artillary. What sorts and how many? |

Background 40k fluff. Its to get a feel of the size as I think its high time I organised some of my thousands of men (and now according to my brother other a thousand pieces of armour, all metal  when I get back to the UK in late May.Its that or do them in 5-10,000 E:A army groups, but thats less satisfying. Also have to decide what to do with the Titans, reckon I've have two legions, one old stuff (at least 50 odd of the chaps) and one new (but just one knight household, I never liked knights). I've got my old SM1 TO&E's in some well thumbed white dwarfs, but it doesn't include all the new specialist vehicles. I suspect I'll end up basing them on scaled up Russian or British regiments, but its always interesting to see what others say. |

I think organisations vary depending upon the planet the regiment is being raised on. You probably have a lot of leeway. |

WE updated the SM1 MTO&Es and added the new AFVs, etc., based on SM2, E40K, etc. ?The SM1 Templates for the Orks, IG, SMs, Squats & Chaos were the best IMO ! ? The lists of E:A don't cut no ice ! ?I recommend looking at mine posted here (incl. DoK) and modifiy them as you see fit. ?After serving in a number of US Army Infantry units (1 A/Aslt Bn [101] and 3 Mech Bns [2ID, 197 Mech Bde], the SM1 templates do the word "Regiment" justic ! ?As I said we base most of our Epic Forces on those. Including my Tau, also posted ...  ?And I too think Knights are "Dumb" ! ?"Doh"! ? Don't include them in my TL based on SM2/TL standards ... I have Knights with Chaos ... they needed more AFVs !  But as always DWWFU !

I have bumped some earlier discussions on this . Its in "other Epic and Titan games."on this board (Epic Rules). (Warhead the IG)....Zak I have rebased my IG for Modern Spearhead , but i can still use them for EA. Fighting battles at divisional level is more my thing. |
