Yep ... I mentioned that on one of the Ely threads a week or so ago ... Det. D-99 ... Some sort of Special Troops ?
I'm not planning on buying the book, so first one who gets it; let us Know !

Yep, saw that, though try as I might, I was unable to expand the image to something legible. Sounds like a special detachment of the Elysians though. I'm looking forward to getting a gander at the list to see what they did, more for curiosity's sake though. |

I'll let you know, if I remember  . Ever since I saw that they were doing a nid IA I've been waiting with baited breath.Though its size does seem a bit of a let down. |

Yep, looks like a sub-component of the Elysians. Instead of the Elysians taking units of Vets - its an entire Vet list. D-99. Looks to be very VERY scenerio specific type of an elite list. Special ops type of org. I don't think it is meant to compete or conflict with IA3 Elysians at all. IA3 takes a stab and defining the entire Elysian concept. IA4 D-99 appears to focus on a subset and specific Regiment within the Elysian Drop Troop concept. I see Elysians to Darkangels as I see D-99 Vets to Deathwing (or Ravenwing, etc) Cheers, |
